Market On!

Your Bergen Market products will be waiting for you Saturday, August 24 at the Bergen Hall, 10am-1pm. Come fill up with the best local garden vegetables you’ll find anywhere, all carefully, sustainably and lovingly grown. From onions to kale, beets to carrots, shelling peas to new potatoes and more, you’ll eat healthier after your Market visit! And don’t forget a selection of locally-raised, grass-fed beef from Bergen’s Double N Ranch.

Of course you’ll need dessert, too: choose from pies, cinnamon buns, cookies, granola bars, chocolate croissants (come early!) and other treats. From the organic Similkameen Valley this week: freestone peaches, red and purple plums, heirloom tomatoes, garlic. Plus fine crafts and clothing from around the world; mead, honey and bee products; Asian sauces; delicious preserves and fruit crisps; along with food and treats for those four-legged members of your household.

We also feature two community service tables: the Sundre Municipal Library brings books, magazines and videos–and you can take them home with your Library card. And our “Compassion for Wildlife” table has information and activities for folks of all ages.
