Spaghetti Sauce
1 lb extra lean ground beef
3 lbs chopped fresh tomatoes
1 Tbsp. minced basil
1 Tbsp. minced thyme
1 Tbsp. minced oregano
3 cloves of minced garlic
1 tsp. sea salt
1/8 tsp coarse ground black pepper
Brown beef and add remainder of ingredients and simmer 10 minutes- serve over freshly baked spaghetti squash***
Top with grated cheese if you desire. Serves 4.
*** To bake spaghetti squash ( approx’ 1lb per person) place on 9″X13″ pan and put in 350F oven for 45 minutes to 1 hr (until tender when poked with a fork). Cut cooked squash in half and scoop out cooked flesh and serve with a tomato meat sauce.
