Warm days, healthy food, Bergen grown

Here’s just a glimpse of what you’ll find at this Saturday’s Bergen Farmers’ Market:

Lettuce, spinach, arugula, chard, yellow and green and Burgundy beans, golden and red beets, carrots, fennel, leeks, cabbage, pod and snap peas, kale, broccoli, red and white potatoes, yellow and green zucchini, all sorts of herbs: oregano, parsley, thyme, dill, tarragon.

And also from Bergen: sourdough and conventional baking, chocolate croissants, bagels, local grass-raised beef, smokies and jerky.

And grown just a little further away…red greenhouse tomatoes, Taber corn, organic BC peaches and nectarines.

Plus preserves and healthful treats, creative arts and crafts, pet food, colourful African baskets, flowers and plants, and always a few surprises.

We’re a true farmers’ market, in the heart of our community. We’d love to see you!

Bergen Hall, Saturdays, 10am-1pm. “The friendliest Market around!”
