Great news! We’re now featuring Kohut Corn at the Bergen Farmers’ Market. This super-sweet corn is lovingly grown just east of Didsbury. The Kohut family uses the same kind of sustainable agricultural practices that characterize all Bergen Market products. They use no pesticides or fungicides, only organic fertilizers, and the corn is non-GMO. Did we mention how sweet it is? So sweet, you can eat it raw! (Of course, it’s also amazing cooked for a few minutes, and served with a little butter and salt.) Our mouths here are watering already!
Look for Kohut Corn at the BC organic fruit table. Thanks to corn-grower Rick Kohut for making this possible.
Jamie, please choose your words more carefully. Drooling on my keyboard is so unbecoming. (I’m gonna get me some of that corn on Saturday!)
