STOP at the Market, August 6

Recognize this important intersection?

You’ll see it this Saturday as you make your way to the Farmers’ Market, at the Bergen Community Hall. As always, we have an impressive complement of vendors this week:

• oodles of fresh vegetables from the Syer farm;

• fabulous baking from Nice Buns and kitchens throughout Bergen;

books, poetry and artwork from Marilyn Halvorson;

• tasty Bergen Traditional beef from Double N Ranch;

• hand-made soap, artful jewellery, and other crafts;

• and more…be there, and bring your friends!

The Bergen Farmer’s Market: every Saturday until September 10, 10:00am-1:00pm

  1. And…”En Santé” fruit wine, from Birds & Bees Organic Winery and Meadery. “Alberta’s first and only organic winery, and first meadery (honey wine). We produce everything that goes into our wine: wild cherries, alfalfa, apples, saskatoons, raspberries, rhubarb, high bush cranberries, and honey. Our wines range from dry to semi-sweet and are perfect for pairing with a meal or sipping on their own.”

  2. It would hardly be a Bergen Market without Bergen music. Tomorrow’s entertainment will be provided by local musician John Wright, beginning at 10:00am.
