Halfway through the Market season, today we welcomed Chef Gerg van Poppel who will be preparing local ingredients for our Feast of Bergen scheduled for Saturday, September 8. Today’s vegetable displays, good music, enthusiastic visitors, and warm summer sun all added up to a memorable Heritage Weekend market.
And it will just get better—with later-summer produce such as green beans, beets (all colours), carrots, potatoes, as well as our usual local dairy products, salad ingredients, baking, crafts…come early next Saturday for best selection and good parking!
