Amid predictions of another hotter-than-usual summer, we’re delighted to see the June rain to encourage gardens, fields and pastures, and to fill our rain barrels for future watering. While we’d love our first Market day to be bright and sunny, if it’s raining on Saturday we’ll be warm and cozy in the Bergen Hall.
We have a full Market of 22 vendors to start the season! Snack on a wood-fire-baked croissant, or a pretzel, or Gerald’s Tasty Cheese Bread, or some of the other fabulous baking on offer. Find the perfect gift for a friend or yourself from our talented artisans. Spruce up your deck with flowers from the Water Valley Forest Nursery. Shop for perfect early garden produce: greens, bok choy, spinach, rhubarb, farm-fresh eggs and more.
Sip a free coffee and settle in for a good conversation while you enjoy our live music. There’s a reason we’re called “the friendliest Market around!”
