The Bergen Farmers’ Market is delighted to welcome live music with LILYBELLE from Water Valley, this Saturday, June 29.
Lilybelle is sisters Kate (guitar, violin, voice), Jessica (violin, voice) and Victoria Pereversoff (piano, voice). Born and raised near Cremona, Alberta, the sisters have been singing and playing music together for all of their lives. All three have been trained as classical musicians on their instruments. Victoria studied piano at the University of Victoria. Both Kate and Jessica completed music degrees on the East Coast. Their love of folk music has grown and developed over the years. Kate and Jessica are past members of local group Seven Fiddlesworth, with Jessica later going on to join the Calgary Fiddlers. Come enjoy their lively fiddle tunes, traditional folk songs, and a few originals.
