Don’t miss a late summer Saturday with your friends at the Bergen Farmers’ Market.
beef, bread, gooey cinnamon buns, jumbo M&M cookies, Mississippi Mud Bars, spider plants, carrots, dill, beans, pickling cucumbers, crocheted dish cloths, jewelry, pies, wood craft, ham & cheese buns, mead, honey, bee products, BC organic peaches & plums, croissants, baguettes, wood-oven-baked artisan bread, broccoli, golden beets, kale, African baskets, preserves, granola, Watkins, Tupperware, Norwex, pet treats, crocheted blankets, metal art, spirits, live music, sauces, quail eggs … my oh my!
This display and advertisement of different products you carry at your Market is most impressionable. Definitely seems to be worth the drive out there from where we live South of Red Deer. If we don’t make it tomorrow the 5th due to it being the long weekend then must make it on the 12th, as it seems I read somewhere that will be the last Market for this Season. Don’t suppose anyone out there has cylinder beets as very hard to come by in our area?
Thanks for your interest, Lauree. Sorry we didn’t see your message sooner. I haven’t seen any of the beets you mention at the Market. At least one vendor will be continuing with baking and BC fruit during the fall, even though the Market is closed until Thanksgiving. If you’re interested, check out https://www.localline.ca/syer-farm
