Today we’re featuring two more vendors from over 20 at the coming Bergen Farmers’ Christmas Market. Why not come visit us next Saturday, November 24 at the Bergen Hall? The Market is open from 10:00am-4:00pm. The coffee is always free, and you can buy beef-on-a-bun (from our local Double N Ranch) and some wonderful baking to go with it!
Maria Hughes Photography
Maria is from Cremona. She has had a passion for photography since she was a small girl, and at 15 years old has already been hired for weddings, has shown in various art shows and spotlighted in a fashion magazine. Her favourite subjects are landscapes and wildlife.
Jessica Jane Glass
Jessica Hughes is a glass blower/lampworker from Cremona. She uses a torch to melt glass, then while the glass is molten, shapes it into beads, ornaments and more. Each creation is then annealed in a kiln to ensure durability. She uses a special glass imported from Italy that comes in a wide array of colors. This year she has also taken up crochet and knitting and often adds some of her handblown glass buttons to these pieces.
A wonderful combination! Jessica is a juried member of Wellspring Visual ArtNetwork Association and Maria is a junior member so you know their work will be topnotch.
