Garden gleanings at the Market

good for you ... and it tastes good, too!

We’re harvesting some early treasures from Bergen gardens this weekend for Saturday’s Market. Expect to find…lettuce, mixed greens, spinach and kale; basil, arugula, cilantro, parsley, sage, and chives; rhubarb and–guess what–new potatoes!

That’s in addition to our fresh-baked bread, baguettes, croissants, cookies and more. And Bergen’s own SweetMeadow Farmstead Cheese. And naturally-raised beef, tasty jams and preserves, and our local craftspeople and artisans. And how about those organic BC cherries and peaches?

Hope you’ll join us for the Canada Day Market! Here’s how to find us.

  1. What better place to spend a Saturday! Food to enjoy, vendors to browse, friends to meet, coffee to share … don’t get much better than this. 🙂
