We won’t bother you by repeating the s-word, because the forecast for Thanksgiving Saturday is sunny and “warm.” Aren’t those yellow trees beautiful against the blue sky?
We have a very full house for Saturday’s Market in the Bergen Hall, featuring products from across Canada: everything from BC organic apples to Quebec organic maple syrup. Of course our fabulous local products take centre stage…local grass-fed beef, fall produce from nearby gardens, fresh wood-fired baking, Bergen-made jewelry, Bergen-roasted coffee and lots more.
Nearby craftspeople will bring wood products, pottery, metal art, photo cards and all kinds of knitting, felting and quilting.
We’re pleased to provide a lunch concession this week, run by a local student raising money for an upcoming school excursion.
Legacy Land Trust and Rural Crime Watch will provide special community information, and there is a selection of coffee and sweet treats for you to enjoy while you shop.
The good conversation is, of course, always free. There’s a reason we’re called “the friendliest Market around.”
See you there?
