At the Bergen Farmers’ Market we’re all about local food. Many of our vendors live only a few miles away. And what a variety they’ll have for you this week!
…broccoli, onions, kohlrabi, beets, arugula, lettuce, salad mix, shelling and edible pod peas, kale, swiss chard, baby potatoes, zucchini, carrots, beans (all colours), herbs, rhubarb, strawberry jam, marmalade, tomatoes, …
We also support farmers who grow things we can’t. So we have organic fruit from the Similkameen Valley, and Taber corn from southern Alberta grown by the Johnson Family.
And our bakers! And our ranchers! And our crafters! And our makers of preserves, pickles and jams! Have we mentioned the live music? And our classic lemonade stand?
Just remember: we’re the friendliest Market around, and we’re well worth the trip. See you in Bergen!
